ENTRANCE AND SELECTION CRITERIA

Below are the general entrance criteria that shall be used to evaluate prospects for the incubator. The applicant should meet at least six of these criteria before they can be considered for the program.

What you need to qualify

  • Physical Location within the boundaries of Baldwin County

  • Have the technical knowledge required for the business

  • Complete a preliminary or draft business plan

  • Evidence of growth and job development potential

  • Company or concept history

  • Identify management team and market strategy

  • Three-year revenue projections and anticipated cash flows

  • A commitment to continuing education as part of the virtual incubator program

  • A sound credit history (for funding assistance)

Preferred (not required)

  • Be a basic exporting business: Services or products offered should grow Baldwin County’s economy

  • Not duplicate services already in place in Baldwin County

  • Be a technologically oriented business
